About us

Learn. Understand. Excel.

Hein Tutoring is an educational support service in Uganda. We take difficult school content and make it simple, using experienced teachers.

Built for the gap between the classroom and the exam.

Many learners sit in a full class, nod along, and still leave a topic unsure. Hein Tutoring exists for that moment. Our teachers slow down, explain it another way, and check that it has landed before moving on.

We serve upper primary pupils (P4 to P7) and the full secondary range, from Senior One to Senior Six. Lessons follow the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) syllabus and prepare learners for Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) papers, whether that is the PLE, the O'Level or UACE.

Learners can join online, in a physical group, or in private one-on-one sessions, and families can pay weekly, by holiday, or yearly.

Our motto

“Fostering Understanding”

Mission

To empower learners to thrive academically, personally, and professionally by developing critical thinking, self-reliance, and deep subject mastery.

Vision

To ignite a lifelong love for learning that shapes brighter futures and opens doors to global opportunities for all.

How we work

More than extra lessons.

Teachers who know the exam

Our educators come from leading schools nationwide. They teach with UNEB question styles and marking schemes in mind.

Weak spots found early

Topic tests, mocks and periodic progress reports show where a learner is struggling before the real exam does.

Practical, project-based work

Learners are guided through projects and research that build independence. We coach them; we never do the work for them.

Technology in the lesson

Digital whiteboards, science simulations and quizzes are part of ordinary teaching, so computer skills grow with the subject.

Honest, flexible pricing

Weekly, holiday and yearly plans are published openly, and fees are paid only through official Hein Tutoring channels.

Learning that reaches everyone

Online delivery means a learner in any district with a phone and a connection can sit in a good class.

Safe and professional

Your child's safety is part of the lesson plan.

Every tutor works to the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) teachers' code of conduct and to Hein Tutoring's community guidelines.

Read the guidelines
  • Private lessons at home take place in an open, designated area such as a living room or study corner, with a parent or adult guardian on the premises throughout.
  • Official online communication happens only on approved Hein Tutoring channels. Recording or sharing a learner's personal media elsewhere is strictly prohibited.
  • Tutors keep clear professional boundaries with learners on every platform and in every physical setting.
  • Serious breaches, including sexual misconduct, exam malpractice and corporal punishment, lead to immediate termination and referral to the relevant authorities.

Teach with us, or learn with us.

We are always glad to hear from committed teachers, and from families ready to make a start.
