Classes and subjects
We teach Primary (P4 to P7), O'Level (S1 to S4) and A'Level (S5 and S6). Subjects include Mathematics, the sciences, English and the humanities. The full, current list is on the Structure page. We add subjects as demand grows and as we find the right teachers, so if yours is missing, ask us.
Three ways: live online lessons, physical group sessions at our tuition hubs and partner centres, and private one-on-one tutoring at home or online. We also offer recorded lessons for revision or catching up.
Experienced teachers from schools across Uganda. They teach to the NCDC curriculum and prepare learners for UNEB examinations, and they follow the Ministry of Education and Sports teachers' code of conduct.
Yes. Our O'Level lessons follow the Lower Secondary competency-based curriculum, with practical project work and continuous assessment, as well as UNEB exam technique.
Fees and payments
Fees depend on the level and the plan: per week, per holiday, yearly, recorded lessons only, or one-on-one by the hour. All current prices in UGX are on the Structure page under Fees.
Use our payment page and pay with MTN or Airtel Mobile Money. You do not need an account. Fees can also be paid through Hein Tutoring's official Mobile Money merchant lines or bank accounts. Never pay cash to an individual tutor.
Every student gets a code like HT-S-00123 when they register. When you pay for a student, type the code at the start of the payment reason so the payment goes to the right student. Parents can also use the code to link a child to their own account.
Yes. Payment plans can be weekly, monthly, termly or yearly. The yearly plan costs less than paying each holiday separately.
Accounts
Choose Sign up, enter your name, username, email, phone and role (parent, student or teacher), and set a password. Students receive a code straight away. Our team then adds learners to the right classes.
Sign in, open your dashboard and enter your child's student code under Your children. Once linked, you can see their classes and the payments made for them.
Online lessons
A reliable smartphone, tablet or computer, a stable internet connection, and a personal email address. Join about five minutes early, keep your microphone muted unless asked, and switch your camera on when the teacher asks.
Safety
Private home lessons happen only in an open area such as a living room or study corner, and a parent or adult guardian must be at home for the whole lesson. All official communication goes through approved Hein Tutoring channels.
